A sailing package tailored to the user’s specific requirements
At Jachthaven van Oversteeg in Werkendam, two loyal customers wanted to remain at the marina, but enjoy their leisure time in a different way. Revolution developed the AUREL 11 and AUREL 13: each with its own bespoke interior, an exterior design that blends in with the wooded waterside setting of the Biesbosch, and a boating package tailored to the user’s specific requirements.

One boat leads to a second application
The first custom houseboat at Jachthaven van Oversteeg caught the eye of another regular customer at the marina, who expressed an interest in a similar, larger version. Following discussions, the marina owner agreed to a second boat, on condition that the materials used were in keeping with the wooded surroundings of the Biesbosch — the boat must not clash with the surrounding natural environment. The end user also had specific requirements: the houseboat had to be able to operate entirely off-grid and have sufficient power to sail independently.
